We are busy working on on our fifth shipment!

To Date:

• Stuffed Animals Collected: Over 626
• Shipments Sent: Four Completed
• Total Boxes Sent: 13
• Other Distributions:  Wounded Warriors, Deployed Spouses, and their Children
• Branches Represented: Air Force, Army, and Marines (Guard and Active Duty)   No requests received from Navy or Coast Guard
• Nationally Represented: Units from  Maryland**, Mississippi**, Texas, and Vermont
• Global Impact: Haiti, Iraq, Afghanistan, and now: Kyrgyzstan
• Patnerships: Bears from Badges, Circle of Angels, FBLA,  Operation Second Chance, Our Heroes’ Tree, The American Legion,  The Help Association
• Business Donors: Angels Out of New York, Arocho Law Office, Calvert Chiropractic, The Candy Wrapper
• Collection Drive Support: American Legion, Help Association, various local libraries, community groups, individiuals, and local community centers
• Total Operational Expenses: $4000.00 (shipment/development/purchased donations/community outreach,/mailings/ media)
• Total Monetary Donations: $112.00*

At this time: Due to the overwhelming response and number of donations, Project Hugs From Heroes currently has all of the stuffed animals they need!

* At the present time, all operating expenses, including shipments, have been paid out-of-pocket by the founders   As more and more units and military families are requesting our help, to keep this project  sustainable and to be able to grow, we are in need of funding.

Silent Rank Sisterhood is a state-registered non-profit.  It has been incorporated as a public charity, in the language of a 501(c)3, to benefit the Armed Forces and their families.
As soon as the IRS’s monetary requirements for applying for a 501(c)3 are met, Silent Rank Sisterhood will submit to seek 501(c)3 status.
