Kirsten O’Neill is not just the creator of this site, but she is also a working artist! Her speciality is fine art photography, though she also enjoys working with mixed mediums. As a military wife, Kirsten understand the ongoing needs and challenges faced by our military members and their families. She is devoted to bringing the plight of our service members to the public, through this site, her community volunteerism, advocacy, support, and outreach programs. Her mission is to connect locate and connect the resources of non-profits, churches, groups, and caring citizens to our military members, who are in of support. Tom Brokaw, this past January, said, “Less than 1% of the population is carrying 100% of the burden of this war.” To help ease the burden, she has decided to donate 20% of the proceeds of the sale of her artwork to small, local non-profits that either rescue abandoned and abused horses or benefit military members and their families. Below is a growing list of some of her favorite charities and causes. She, too, encourages you to be inspired, find a cause worthy of support, and decide to get connected!
